Alyssa Day
Alyssa Day has been passionate about guitar from a young age, building a career defined by technical precision, melodic expression, and dynamic live performance. After studying Music Performance, she established herself as a touring guitarist, composer, recording artist, and educator.
Today, Alyssa is a guitarist for Blue Medusa, the new project fronted by Alissa White-Gluz, while also co-founding the instrumental progressive metal duo Absentia. She has toured extensively throughout North America and Europe with The Iron Maidens, performing at renowned venues and festivals. Alongside her band work, Alyssa has built a dedicated following through her solo releases and online content, where she shares original music and performances with a global audience.
Whether performing on stage, writing new music, or creating content for the guitar community, Alyssa is driven by a passion for expressive musicianship and continual growth as an artist. Blending technical proficiency with memorable melodies, her playing draws from progressive metal, rock, and cinematic influences while maintaining a style that is uniquely her own.
